To support the Metropolitan Library System's efforts to provide the highest level of library services.

Objectives and Purpose
Of the Friends of the Metropolitan Library System

To maintain an association of persons interested in books and libraries.
To focus public attention on library services, facilities and the needs of the Metropolitan Library System.
To stimulate gifts of materials to the Metropolitan Library System including books, magazines, desirable collections, endowments, grant requests, and other support as prescribed by the association.
