	to maintain an association of persons interested in books and libraries, to focus public attention on library services, facilities and needs of the Ralph Ellison Library, to stimulate gifts of materials including books, magazines, desirable collections, endowments, grants, bequests and other support, to promote usage of the Ralph Ellison Library, and to meet the special needs of the Northeast Oklahoma City community.
