to maintain an association of persons interested in books
and libraries,
- to focus public attention on library services, facilities
and needs of the Ralph Ellison Library,
- to stimulate gifts of materials including books, magazines,
desirable collections, endowments, grants, bequests and other support,
- to promote usage of the Ralph Ellison Library, and
- to meet the special needs of the Northeast Oklahoma City
community.
